Bought this for my Asus ROG Zephyrus 14-inch gaming laptop. Love this computer but it’s had serious and frequent overheating problems since day 1. This little cooler really did the trick! The extra cooling lets me actually use the computer’s full specs without getting the molten-hot green screen of death, and it keeps the profile slim in a way a cooling mat wouldn’t. One cooler is keeping things under control, but I’m gonna throw a second one on the other side just to really go gamer mode on it. It’s also quieter than I expected, even on the higher speeds.
It is a decent little cooler. Did more than any cooling pad to prevent screen tears and stutters. Not louder than my laptop but not quite. However In less demanding games can keep my laptop for turning into turbo jet mode. So any noise from this fan isn't that bad. If you are still having thermal issues you probably should try re pasting your laptop.
I have been using this for months now and I can say I'm very very happy with the results!
Its a bit awkward to stick on the laptop and it is pretty loud but..
Before I got this I would play Warframe or Borderlands 3 and my laptop would turn off from thermal shutdown!
Now it get's pretty toasty but this takes the edge off enough that I can game again without much trouble.
If you're looking for a cheap way to reduce your temps by ~20% this is a fantastic product!
Très insatisfait, la preuve en vidéo, l'appareil en mode manuel en vitesses maximale je tourne tour de même à 90-95 degrés. J'ai essayé en l'installant avec le support plastique, le support métallique, avec les trois buses de tailles différentes rien n'y fait. Je ne recommande pas ce produit et je suis très déçu.
I have tried many cooling pads and so far, this is the only cooler that works on my undercooled Toshiba P55T laptop with 2 GPUs..
This cooler attaches to your exhaust and acts like a extra sucker of hot air. Trick is to mount it properly. I had to use the red base with sticky tape on it because my back end of laptop sits on my monitors round base so it's not flat on my desk to save space. So I used a aluminum cap from my beer can to lift it up to keep the rubber seal sealed and works well.
Noise is random on Automatic mode, u can set your own speed also. I like my P55T, it's touch screen and pretty good for gaming but it has cooling system from a P850.. I'll drill a few dozen 3/16" holes around the back cover of my laptop to give it a better breathe.
