Good quality and easy to use! I got this mic as my job required me to haha I was really annoyed mostly because I hate clutter. Thankfully, this mic is really good and fits nicely on my table. I don’t have to keep it close to my face at all and it picks up my voice really well. I saw in other reviews that the mute button doesn’t work.. well mine does when you click the button on the mic but when I look up at my computer it doesn’t say muted so maybe that’s why they say it doesn’t work? Long story short... good mic, easy to use and cute.
This microphone was better because of the gooseneck feature. However, it was sensitive to where I placed it. I couldn't put it on the right side because it was slow to respond to my voice when using Dragon Naturally Speaking.
I no longer have these microphones (I bought two) since the mute button stopped working properly and they would hot-mic very badly towards the end of their life.
Honestly I was skeptical of their sound quality when I bought them, but that was never an issue as they sounded better than expected. The cheap wire job and cheap mute button however was a problem. After about 6 months of daily use working remote and the mute buttons started to act up. I would mute it and it would still transmit audio… and then they would hot-mic when the mute button was engaged.
I could have still used the software mute button on zoom or teams but then it shows as muted to everyone in the meeting and some software gives the pop up notification of being muted whenever you speak while on mute. This is where my problem started because it then gets picked up on the recordings right smack in the middle of the screen LoL.
So all in all it hot-mics, the mute button is not durable past a few hundred clicks/depress cycles, and the sound quality is ok. I do not recommend.
I bought this to dictate my writing notes and it works perfectly. The sound quality is definitely good for the cost. A personal note is that I love the on/off button, it's way easier to turn on and off than my blue yeti mic.
I was excited to not have to worry about a mic on my headset. But people I was talking to said they couldn’t hear me and the sound was like I was under water. Returned.
